The home doorbell has evolved. It’s now part of a home security system but how secure are they? Experts say they have limitations.
CBS 17 Consumer Investigator Steve Sbraccia looks into the use of doorbell cameras. Among the experts he talks to is Brian Smith, CEO of Iwatch Security in Raleigh.
Smith has been selling a lot of doorbell cameras. But he points out that no matter how good the camera is, you need to make sure you also have the supporting technology in place. Your doorbell camera can be limited by 1) your wi-fi connection, 2) your internet speeds, and even 3) your upload and download bandwidth.
